General Notes

Suggestion was made to slow down the Spaghetti Wars.  Joel was the last 'owner' but didn't get a new one out.  Suggestion was made to do an "adaptive testing" approach if no solution is found.  Also, we'll try to allow 1 week between new problems.

The December meeting will be a dinner meeting.  Taste of India was decided on, and a date of December 16 at 6:30 pm.

Farewell to Bill

Bill Gathan (man of many talents) is flying south.  The group presented him with a thank you note (certification of appriciation) for his many contributions to the GR Perl Mongers.

Bill had said he needed a new dart board, but a picture of the group wasn't available.

Geom::Object - OOP in Perl (Joel Meulenberg)

Joel gave a presentation of an image generation application developed.  It was done using OO pgm with both home grown objects, as well as with the Image::Magick module.   (The warping/spinning cube GIF thingy.). A copy of the source code handout can be found here.

Good job Joel, now can you do a picture of a throbing/rotating camel?
