About 15 people attended.

Meeting started at 11:30am. Lunch was from the Steelcase cafeteria. I had the spicy black bean burger--recommended.

We discussed future meeting times such as mornings, lunches, middle of the day, and evening. Generally, lunches and evenings worked best for most. Most employers are support of employees attending user group meetings offsite around lunch time. No changes were made.

Steve Johnson presented "The Perl DBI", a discussion of interfacing Perl with databases using the DBI module. A 16 page booklet was provided and is available in electronic form at http://www.bbdltd.com under the tech page.

We discussed future meeting ideas. Next month Bill Gathen will be presenting on CGI. If anybody figures out the Perl debugger, there is still interest in seeing something on that.

Individual technical discussions were had. Nobody got into "local v. my" this time.

The meeting adjourned around 1:00pm or so.
