Tools for Asynchronous Programming in Perl (ipc_talk.tar.gz - 550Kb) - Gzipped Tarball of presentation slides in HTML format. OO Perl Essentials Part I (OOPerl.zip) - Zip file of presentation slides in HTML format. Object Oriented Perl Essentials was presented by Joel Meulenberg on 03/31/00. Sockets Demo - A presentation by Jeff Willims demonstrating sockets using Perl's "IO::Socket" and "Socket" modules. This resource includes Powerpoint presentations on TCP/IP and Sockets as well as code examples for a few clients and servers. The 3D Graphics Demo - A Perl script written by Joel Meulenberg demonstrating generating graphics with Perl. The archive contains source code as well as one animated GIF that is just one example of what can be done with the 3D graphics classes Joel wrote and the Image::Magick module. The GIF is the psychodelic "warping/spinning cube". The CGI.pm module - A CGI application by Bill Gathen demonstrating Perl's CGI.pm module.
